Morgan Micheletti, MD, FACS
Dr. Micheletti is a board-certified cataract, refractive, and complex anterior segment surgeon at Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, Texas. He is the Director of Research and is an investigator on numerous FDA and investigator initiated clinical trials.
He was named to the Best Cataract Surgeons in America list, recognized as Castle Connolly Top Doctor, received the award for Incredible Innovation and Scientific Contribution, and was recently named to the top 40 under 40 list. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his residency training at the prestigious Emory Eye Center.
He is an innovator who has created multiple surgical instruments with 3 patent pending devices and has developed novel approaches to surgical challenges which have been published in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He serves on the board of directors for the Society for Excellence in Eyecare, chairs the Research Committee for AECOS, and serves as a member of the AAO ONE Network Cataract Committee and the YES Committee for the ASCRS. He also hosts The History of Eyecare Podcast.
