PresidentBrad oversees all global strategy and operations for TFG, leading data-driven, peer-to-peer communication, and outcome assessment through annual education grants. He has almost 3 decades of experience in the ophthalmic industry, having held leadership positions as a widely published clinical researcher, Editor-In-Chief of EyeWorld, and Head of Medical Education for ophthalmic device companies. Brad founded TFG in 2013 to create compelling, compliant, data-driven medical education. -

Throughout her tenure, Taryn has been instrumental in steering multiple organizations towards maintaining their prestigious Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) initial and reaccreditation statuses. Her expertise spans across various domains including meeting planning, grant management, exhibitor and sponsorship coordination, as well as budgetary and fiscal operations. Taryn's commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized by industry peers and professionals alike, earning the distinction of being named a "Meeting Planner to Watch" by Convention South Magazine, a testament to her innovative approach and impactful contributions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Taryn finds fulfillment in her roles as a wife and mother. Married to her high school sweetheart, Greg, she cherishes the joys of family life. Together, they are proud parents to a daughter pursuing her Master's in Social Work at LSU, and a son who is set to embark on his journey at LSU, majoring in Business and a member of the LSU Cheer team. In her moments of leisure, Taryn indulges in her passion for travel, relishing the opportunity to explore new destinations. However, her greatest joy stems from spending quality time with her loved ones, fostering bonds that enrich her life both personally and professionally. Additionally, Laura has experience with credit requirements for optometrists, pharmacists, nurses, and ophthalmic technicians. She is skilled in all aspects of continuing education, from gap identification through outcomes analysis, providing TFG with a foundation to ensure all activities are high quality and compliant. -

Laura orchestrates collaborative efforts across the ophthalmology industry, steering the field’s stakeholders toward innovative content solutions. Her visionary approach generates impactful narratives for various media outlets and includes the strategic development and coordination of progressive clinical content such as masterclasses, manuscripts, articles, competitive intelligence reporting, discussion guides, and executive summaries. Laura is also the founder and principal of Laura Straub Healthcare Communications. Previously, Laura was the Editor-in-Chief of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today and Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today Global. In that role, she curated the publication’s editorial calendar, consistently executing innovative and impactful clinical content strategies. Her ability to forge enduring partnerships with key opinion leaders, both eye care professionals and industry members, has not only helped shape the editorial landscape within ophthalmology but also cemented her status as a trailblazer in health care communications. Laura’s accolades include leading CRST to a 2018 Eddie/Ozzie Award for a groundbreaking series of articles, a testament to her pursuit of editorial ingenuity and excellence. In her free time, Laura enjoys the outdoors with her husband Tim and their three children, Cadence, Scarlett, and Melanie. She has a passion for endurance sports and has completed 13 Ironmans, three ultramarathons, and countless marathons. She qualified and competed at the Ironman World Championships and the Boston marathon multiple times. -
